Language endangerment in Ngukurr

ABC recently did an interview with That Munanga Linguist Greg Dickson and Marra elders Freda and Betty Roberts about the lanauge maitenance work being done in Ngukurr. The language team in Ngukurr is currently working on recording Marra language for preservation and teaching purposes which have been disrupted by the NT government’s decision to stop bilingual education in schools.
