Gumbaynggirr Language from north east NSW.

Gumbaynggirr language from North East NSW has been undergoing a strong revival initiated through Muurrbay Aboriginal Language and Culture Co-operative, and continued with a new language centre opening at Nambucca Head High School recently, young people such as Tyson Ferguson have been learning and teaching the language. In addition to these exciting developments the language is also being taught via ABC local radio (Coffs Harbour) by language researcher and teacher Gary Williams. You can access Gary’s lesson on the ABC local radio webite here.
