Drum Atweme

Drum Atweme is a programme currently running in some town camps in Alice Springs in a bid to maintain language and culture and boost school attendence of at risk youth between ages 6-18. The evident success of programmes such as Drum Atweme in boosting school attendance and encouraging positive attitudes towards Aboriginal language and culture is something to be celebrated.
