Yolngu Language Learning Resources

Following on from my last post about learning Yolngu through Charles Darwin University, here are some more resources for learning Yolngu at your own pace. The Aboriginal Resource and Development Services (ARDS) have a whole lot of books, tapes and CDs available for learning the various Yolngu languages. There’s also a Yolngu radio station which you can listen to online via their website, and a bit of advice on getting started learning an Aboriginal language. ARDS also do a lot of work in health education, and published a Djambarrpuyŋu language anatomical dictionary last year, that was written about here and here on this blog last year.
