The science and art of language field work.

Associate Professor Clare Bowern from Yale University has done this lovely piece that was broadcast on Radio National. She explains the importance and complexities of linguistic field work in a very easy to understand way. Clare also shares some of her personal experiences from working on Bardi, a language from the Kimberely region of Western Australia.
