This isn’t information that everyone will be able to access online, so I’ll apologise right now. I’m sorry! And I’m also quite late posting on this, but better late than never, right?
There was a special issue of the Australian Journal of Linguistics at the end of last year (volume 30, issue 4) called Studies in Australian Indigenous Conversation. It’s very interesting stuff, the authors of the 4 papers all apply Conversation Analysis techniques to the various indigenous languages they’re working with, which is apparently something that hasn’t been done much in the past. Have a look if you get a chance, UNE students can access the journal online through the library, so I imagine most other uni students will be able to do so through their respective libraries.
