Language Death – The Linguists movie

The movie, The Linguists, was recommended to us last year in one of the MAAL subjects that I was studying at the time. Although it lacks some depth, it is very interesting all the same. It follows two linguists, David Harrison and Gregory Anderson, as they travel to remote (and not so remote) corners of the world investigating and recording endangered languages. You can watch it for free from this link It is well worth while. I enjoyed it immensely – I’d love to have their job!
